Hi! I'm Rachel, a comms specialist with a real love for the beer industry, storytelling, and connecting people through great brands.
I grew up in beautiful North Cornwall, but after heading to London to study Medieval history (don't ask me anything about Medieval history), I found myself working at a national newspaper – which is where I first fell in love with the world of communications.
Eventually, I moved back to Cornwall and joined a young, exciting brewery that was making serious waves in the cask beer world. I threw myself into sharing not just the beer, but the people, the passion, and the place behind it. That connection to story and provenance played a big part in helping grow the brand across the UK.


Over 15 years with the brewery, I wore a lot of hats and loved every minute – from running brand campaigns and building partnerships, to hosting events and working closely with media. One of the projects I’m proudest of is the launch of a cookbook – a real passion project that I co-created with beer sommelier and pal, Ed Hughes. I organised shoots, edited copy, worked with chefs and writers, organised a launch media event (on a boat) and helped secure fantastic media coverage across print, digital and even TV.
I’m all about being open, down-to-earth, easy to work with and tuned in to what makes people tick. I bring that mindset to everything I do, whether it’s PR, content creation, brand strategy, influencer campaigns or partnerships.
Having worked in the beer world for so long, I’ve built a solid network across the South West and beyond – from fellow brewery brethren to creatives, chefs, beer writers and trade and consumer media.
